Discrete Semiconductor Kit
If you do anything with electronics, you’re probably already using transistors, but you’re probably using them in large, prepackaged clusters of just one type. The SparkFun Discrete Semiconductor Kit addresses your needs of only needing one or a couple transistors without you needing go and order a single transistor. Inside each kit you will find multiple types of semiconductors including PNP and NPN bipolar transistors, N-channel and P-channel MOSFETs, diodes, adjustable voltage references, and adjustable voltage regulators.
The FTDI cable is a USB to Serial (TTL level) converter which allows for a simple way to connect TTL interface devices to USB. The I/O pins of this FTDI cable are configured to operate at 5V. The FTDI cable is designed around an FT232RQ, which is housed in a USB A connector. The other side of the cable is terminated with a 0.1" pitch, 6-pin connector with the following pinout: RTS, RX, TX, 5V, CTS, GND (RTS is the green cable and GND is black).
SparkFun LTE CAT M1/NB-loT Shield - SARA-R4 (With Hologram SIM card)
The SparkFun LTE CAT M1/NB-IoT Shield with Hologram SIM Card equips your Arduino or Arduino-compatible microcontroller with access to data networks across the globe without needing to provide your own subscriber identity module. This shield adds wireless, high-bandwidth cellular functionality to your IoT project while maintaining low power consumption and a small footprint. The SparkFun LTE CAT M1/NB-IoT Shield is based off the Arduino R3’s footprint that allows you to easily incorporate it with favorite Arduino-based device. At the heart of the LTE Cat M1/NB-IoT shield is a u-blox SARA-R410M-02B LTE Cat M1/NB-IoT modem. Cat M1 (Category M1) and NB-IoT (Narrowband IoT) are both Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technologies that are designed to provide cellular communication to small IoT devices. They operate on LTE network bands just like most smartphones, and should be supported by most cellular network carriers. The u-blox SARA-R4 module communicates over a UART via a simple...
